#Why can I not join the SMP?

You need a Discord link and Discord membership. Also accept the resource pack and confirm the rules.

#Are there homes or teleports?

No. You travel on foot, by horse, boat or minecart.

#How do I protect my builds?

With a camp or in a city. The wilderness has no protection.

#Where may I fight?

In the wilderness. In camps and cities only if the owners turned PvP on. Never at spawn.

#I died. Where are my items?

In your gravestone. /graves shows where it is. More under PvP and death.

#Why did my items disappear?

Some items despawn faster in the SMP than in vanilla. More under Changed mechanics.

#How do I get silver?

Play actively, complete quests, reach milestones and trade. More under Silver and quests.

#Why do villagers not trade?

So that good finds keep their value. Where you get everything instead is under Villagers.

#How do I trade with a player?

Stand at most 8 blocks from them and type /trade <player>. More under Trading.

#Why does my spawner produce nothing?

Spawners only work while an active player is nearby. More under Spawners.

#How do I get skill points?

From SMP level 2 you get one per level. More under Skills.

#My farm runs slower than in vanilla.

Some values differ, for example for mobs, hoppers and the activation range. More under Changed mechanics.

#May I use Litematica?

No, not in the SMP.
