## Channels

- **General:** `/allchat` or `/g`
- **Party:** `/partychat` or `/pc`
- **Clan:** `/clanchat` or `/cc`
- **Officers:** `/officerchat` or `/oc`, only for a clan's founder and officers

## How it works

- With a message: you write once in that channel, for example `/pc Hello!`.
- Without a message: the channel becomes your default. Everything you type normally goes there.

`/chat` shows your current channel. `/chat <channel>` selects one.

## More aliases

`/allchat` also has `/all`, `/ac`, `/localchat`, `/lc`, `/community` and `/global`.

## Chat settings

Under `/settings chat` you choose:

- whether you hear a sound when someone writes your name
- which join, leave and AFK messages you see
- whether others see your level-ups

How to report rule breaks in chat is explained under [Help](/getting-started/help).
