## SMP XP and levels

You get SMP XP when you do things in the SMP:

- mine ores and stone
- cut down trees
- harvest crops
- defeat mobs
- take items out of a furnace
- dig
- play actively

Blocks you placed yourself do not count. AFK does not count. With enough XP your SMP level rises. From level 2 you get one skill point per level.

## Commands

- `/skills` shows your abilities, your mana and the switches.
- `/skills tree` opens the skill tree.
- `/skills toggle <ability>` turns an ability on or off.
- `/skills reset` resets all stars for silver. You keep your XP and skill points.

## Skill tree

In the skill tree you unlock stars. Every star costs one skill point. Many stars need a predecessor and some points in the same category.

## Good to know

- Abilities are off while fighting players.
- Territory permissions apply to every single block.
- When your tool is almost broken, you only break single blocks. That way it does not break.
