## City forms

Every city has a form. It sets the leader's title and how elections work.

- **Dominion:** led by the lord
- **Republic:** led by the mayor
- **Council:** led by the chair

## Ranks

Base ranks:

- Head
- Assistant
- Honorary citizen
- Citizen
- Visitor

A city can create up to ten ranks of its own.

## Permissions

Each rank gets permissions, for example:

- build, break, containers, doors, redstone and animals
- place and use spawners
- manage plots
- invite, remove and restrict residents
- deposit into and withdraw from the treasury
- manage ranks
- manage outposts
- expand the city
- set TNT and PvP
- manage election rules
- manage diplomacy
- buy and rent plots
- vote in elections
- dissolve the city

You can also restrict single residents.

## Elections

Under **Government and elections** the city sets the term, re-election and the days until voting rights. Whoever has been a citizen long enough may vote. An election is opened, then you cast your vote.

## Hand over the lead

The head can hand over the lead to another resident.
