**SMP Season 10** is one survival world for everyone: find your place, build your home and trade with your neighbours. The bigger the community, the bigger the world. The SMP is in beta.

## Join

1. [Link your account with Discord](/guides/account#discord) and stay a member of the Discord.
2. In the lobby, choose **SMP** in the compass or click the **SMP Season 10** NPC.
3. Accept the resource pack. While it loads, you are protected.
4. Confirm the SMP rules.

If you leave the Discord, you get a warning. If you do not rejoin in time, you return to the lobby.

## Basics

- Difficulty: hard
- There are no homes, warps or teleports. You travel on foot, by horse, boat or minecart.
- You protect your builds with a [camp](/game-modes/smp/camps) or in a [city](/game-modes/smp/cities).
- Your sidebar shows your silver and your SMP level.
- Villagers do not trade, see [Villagers](/game-modes/smp/villagers).

## First steps in the SMP

1. Head out and find a place.
2. Create a camp with `/camp` so your builds are protected.
3. Check `/quests` for today's tasks.
4. Open `/skills` and spend your first skill point once you have it.

## More commands

- `/stats` shows your statistics.
- `/credits` shows the creators of the content.
